Sterling Silver Parallelogram Hallmarked Cuff-links These Cufflinks have proved to be very popular, as we have decided to make a feature of the Hallmark on the front of the cufflink. Whether you are purchasing them to celebrate a birthday, anniversary or a Wedding Day it acts as the perfect gift especially if you want to mark the year of the event. The Parallelogram Cufflinks measure 13.5 mm x 13.5 mm x 2.5 mm we have been making these cufflinks for about six years now in limited numbers each year. In Britain, Hallmarking has a strong history, dating back 700 years and representing the earliest form of consumer protection. A Hallmark means that the article has been tested by the Assay Office and guarantees that it conforms to a specified legal standard of purity. This is called the fineness of the metal content is expressed as a millesimal number. For example, the number 925 means the metal is 92.5% pure. There are now four British Assay Offices- London, Birmingham, Sheffield and Edinburgh; these cuff-links were assayed at the London Assay Office. Please note all articles in our shop are hallmarked. These are available as a plain polished Cuff-links so Initials or whatever you wish can be engraved.
